What is pregnancy massage?
Pregnancy massage is a specially adapted massage treatment designed to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of expectant mothers during pregnancy. Techniques are modified to ensure comfort and safety for both mother and baby.
When can I have a pregnancy massage?
We only provide pregnancy massage treatments from the second trimester onwards (after 12 weeks of pregnancy).
Unfortunately, we are unable to carry out pregnancy massage treatments during the first trimester.
What if I have a high-risk pregnancy?
If you are considered to have a high-risk pregnancy, we will require prior consent from your GP-led midwife or healthcare professional before your treatment can go ahead.
This is to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you and your baby.

How will I be positioned during the treatment?
You will be positioned safely and comfortably using supportive cushions and side-lying positions where appropriate to avoid pressure on the abdomen and lower back.

Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. During the treatment, you will be appropriately covered with towels at all times for your comfort and privacy.
How often can I have a pregnancy massage?
This varies from person to person. Some clients book monthly treatments, while others benefit from more regular sessions during later stages of pregnancy.
