FAQ  - Lash Extensions

1. What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibers (usually synthetic, silk, or mink) that are individually applied to your natural lashes using a professional adhesive. They enhance the length, volume, and curl of your natural lashes.

2. How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions typically last 4–6 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and how well you care for them. Touch-ups or infills are recommended every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full look.

3. Are lash extensions safe?

Yes, when applied by a licensed and experienced lash technician, they are safe. Always ensure a patch test is performed prior to your first application to check for any allergies.

4. Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes?

When applied and cared for correctly, lash extensions should not damage your natural lashes. However, poor application or neglecting aftercare can lead to breakage or premature lash loss.

5. Can I wear makeup with lash extensions?

Yes, but it's best to avoid oil-based products, waterproof mascara, and lash curlers, as they can weaken the adhesive and shorten the life of your extensions.

6. How should I care for my lash extensions?

  • Avoid water and steam for the first 24–48 hours

  • Gently cleanse lashes with a lash-safe cleanser

  • Avoid rubbing, pulling, or sleeping on your face

  • Use a clean spoolie to brush your lashes daily

7. Can I swim or shower with lash extensions?

Yes, after the initial curing period (first 24–48 hours), you can swim and shower. Just avoid exposing lashes to excessive moisture or rubbing them.

8. What types of lash styles are available?

Popular lash styles include:

  • Classic – one extension per natural lash (natural look)

  • Hybrid – mix of classic and volume

  • Volume – multiple lightweight extensions per lash (dramatic)

9. What if I have sensitive eyes or allergies?

Let your technician know during your consultation. Hypoallergenic adhesives and sensitive formulas are available. Always request a patch test at least 24 hours before the appointment.

10. How do I remove lash extensions?

Lash extensions should be professionally removed with a special remover to avoid damaging your natural lashes. Do not try to pull them off yourself.
